South Expedition Africa is a Safari & Tour Operator founded by Nathaniel Taffere, proposing a wide range of services and activities in Ethiopia and Eritrea: from sight-seeings, boat excursions, bird watching, national park visits, trekking, safaris and game drives, fishing, great night dance shows to cross boarder tourism in East Africa. Nathaniel is also founder and president of a None Governmental Organization (NGO), called Omo Rural Development Association with the objective to support Community Based Tourism.
Additionally to wildlife and game-viewing we offer interaction with the local people and indigenous tribes in the villages. South Expedition Africa includes visits to the villages to enhance a deep understanding of African culture. We support local community initiatives and ecological tourism projects to ensure that the benefits from tourism reach the locals directly.
Developing ecological tourism for us isn't a trend but a move toward progress in the relations with local populations. Therefore, it is very important for us to keep connected with the chiefs in the villages, as we would like to offer a great enthusiastic atmosphere for our clients.
