Tarangire, Lake Manyara & Serengeti: 8 days

Enjoy an 8-day safari adventure and visit the spectacular national parks in Tanzania. The Serengeti National Park is famous for its annual migration of over one and a half million white bearded wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and it's many crocodile. Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa due to its density of predators and prey. The Tarangire National Park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Lake Manyara National Park is wellknown for the flamingos that inhabit the lake. The Ngorongoro Crater is a large, unbroken and unflooded volcanic caldera. The crater was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago.


Day 1:
Kilimanjaro via Arusha in to Tarangire National Park Safari.

Day 2:
Drive to Lake Manyara for afternoon safari possible spotting tree-climbing lions and and flamingoes.

Day 3:
Enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti National Park.

Day 4:
Wildlife Sanctuary in Olduvai Gorge, overnight Serengeti.

Day 5:
Serengeti Safari & drive to Ngorongoro Crater “Eden of Africa”.

Day 6:
Drive down to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. From here you will drive across the dense forest, near Soda Lake to enjoy viewing a variety of bird life.

Day 7:
Drive in to Arusha for city tour.

Day 8:
Kilimanjaro Airport, end.
